Week 4: JOURNEY

PILGRIM, JOURNEY, WANDER

I've been thinking of two words this week--PILGRIM and JOURNEY. Pilgrim and wanderer...  Memory of a train ride through Long Island, in early spring--maybe 2002. Glimpsing figures through the trees alongside the tracks--green, an open field--baseball...

Just for an instant...

What I like about this Porter is the way the center almost dissolves in the pink light. All houses, but such different meanings... just like our lives...
